Working hours can in this type of work be anything between 2 – 9 hours a day depending on where you set your goal. The goal should of course be to get it up and running as fast as possible, put that term is also relative to your preferences and what you are aiming for. If you work 9 hours a day and push out 3 – 4 pages and posts a day, the chances is huge that you will succeed faster in the business of Affiliate marketing.

How to write interesting content. That’s a good question that’s not so easy to answer. You need to have a captivating text tat everybody can read whit out any problems. That means, short paragraphs, the background should preferably be white and the text black. Interesting pictures should be added so its not only text. It gets boring to read if there is no pictures that cuts of the text a little bit now and then.

Text is good, but too much text can be hard to read for anyone. Around 1000 words for a blog post is quite normal and doable for anyone to read. For a page it will be from 1000 to 3000 words for a good writing, with good paragraphing and pictures in between the paragraphs.

It should also be at least 5 headlines that says what you are going to write about next.

Coming up with ideas

It is not so easy to come up with ideas. It preferably has to be something unique that no one else has written about before, and the text has to be unique.

One way to come up with good headlines is to go to Google and type in the word you want to write about, and then you start writing in A and se what Google suggests. Then you type in B and se again what Google suggests for that. The alphabetic method, if you want a name on it.

Then when you have your words, you can go to the Jaaxy research tool in Wealthy Affiliate and further investigate those words.

Jaaxy is a really good tool for this because it will show you more variants of a specific headline and the competition you have on the search engines for the specific headline or keyword. That’s a good thing there some you want low competition, but something that people search for relatively often. That’s one of the keys to success.

Good content

Good content is not always so easy to come up with, but if you really write about something you care about it shouldn’t be a big problem. If you for example like gardening, it shouldn’t be a problem to write a whole novel about how to do gardening, when to grow certain plants, how much water they need, what kind of fertilizer, different flower pots and so on .

When you take a topic for your website it is also important to see if there is any opportunity to make any money based on the topic you have taken. Search on Amazon for stuff that is related to the topic that you can advertise on your site. You have to remember that if you are in the affiliate marketing business the main goal for the site is to make money, and money you only make if you write good quality content that people are coming to your site to read and get information from.

No good content, no good income. That’s the reality.

Add pictures

You also need to have some good pictures to add to your posts. There is a good feature in the Wealthy Affiliate website builder section, under site content. When you write your content there is in the menu bare over the content writer a button that says image. There you can upload your own pictures or take one of the 1 million free pictures that you can download from there to your page.

It is also important that you put in a picture that is relevant to the text that you have written. It will look very weird if you put a picture there that’s not fit in with the text. It is like you taking one thing and showing a totally different thing. It can get very confusing and is not good for the business at all.

A good picture is almost half of the message and that’s how you should treat it, or sometimes they say that a picture says more than thousand words, and that’s probably true.

Updating your posts

You don’t have to write perfect the first time. There is always room for improvement in everything, and that’s how it should be. Nothing will be immediately perfect. It is a good thing that you can go in afterwards and edit and change and add stuff to your content. It would not be so nice if you write something wrong or miss informative and then you can’t go in and change it afterwards.

The difference in Wealthy Affiliate is that you can’t go in trough site content and change it. You have to log in to WordPress and change it that way. You can log in to WordPress also via the Wealthy Affiliate platform on the side menu, Websites, Sitemanager tab. Then you log in there, and you get straight in to the WordPress menu where you can go in to your posts and change them.

One good thing when you log in to WordPress from the site manager tab is that you have the password already in the system, so you don’t have to remember it.

Conclusion

Writing is not so hard if you put your ass in to it. The hardest part is to come up with something to write about, but you can write about anything, absolutely what you want. of course if you want to earn some money out of your writing it has to be something interesting, but you can do anything interesting if you really want.

There is so many niches out there that you can take advantage from. You can build a profitable web page from absolutely anything. It is only the imagination that sets limits to what you can achieve in your online business adventure. How to squeeze out some good stuff to write about is whole other thing, but that you will learn how to do in the Wealthy Affiliate courses.

The main thing is that you think it is a fun project on the side to write some blog posts, and make some content. It doesn’t have to be perfect directly. You can change it along the way.

This is what I have done today. I am trying to keep my self occupied al the time, because otherwise I go very restless. The goal is to write something on my blogs every day now until the 20th of May, so I’m going to be quiet busy trying to fit in the training another stuff in to this as well.

1000 words a day is going to be a tall order for me with my dyslexia and everything, but I will manage because I do not want to fail in the Super Affiliate Challenge 2019. 12 blog post in a month is the minimum, and try to perfect the Wealthy Affiliate review that I have under reviews in the main menu.

It is nice weather outside today, so I probably aim for to do something outside also. You can’t forget your friends only because you are a little busy.

Wealthy Affiliate

I was sitting a few hours this morning and made my Wealthy Affiliate review done and over with. Ofcause there will be changes during the road, bu the mane frame of 1500 words is done. I even sat so long that I missed my training class that I had booked, but I went later instead. That’s no big deal. It’s more important to get this done right now.

I also managed to write the beginning of today’s post and that is a good thing, because then I got started on something, and now I have to finish it before I go to bed tonight. If I want to write a post every day, that is how it has to go. Up in the morning and get it started, and then continue during the day. There are no excuses to being lazy right now when I have fallen behind in the Super Affiliate Challenge. Just work hard and hope it gives something back in the future.

Crossfit

The training that I do is Crossfit. I also have some custom-made program from my sister that owns the crossfit gym tat I’m going to. I have had back problems in the past, so I’m trying to correct that, and its working good for the moment. Still little aces here and there, but I was to an osteopath yesterday, and he put my chassis back in alignment, so now it feels even better.

Crossfit is a cool sport. You constantly push your limits a little further and makes stuff that you did not think was possible. It’s the same with online business. You may think tat this is not working, and then you get surprised when it comes together and start working and bringing in money to your wallet. You should never underestimate anything. Things tat you never thought you could master is suddenly possible with a little of training and coaching from other people around you, and of cause some taps on the back when you have done it.

Spend time with friends and family

You can’t forget your friends in all this meyham. You have to remember that they are there and go and visit them or go for a coffee, or when the weather is nice you might go and take a beer or a drink on some nice outdoor place. Es

pecially when I work like I do. 5 weeks on and 5 weeks of at sea, its important to make some time with your friends and family.

My family I visited last Sunday when it was mothers day. We had a nice brunch and talked al kinds of stuff. My sister of cause talked mostly business stuff concerning her gym business. Me on the other hand was talking mostly about my gains in her gym, and about my chili plants that someone else has to take care about when I go on board for work again. It’s hard to keep something growing when you are away for 4-6 weeks at the time.

Course studies going on

I have two courses I have to finish this year. One is now on Thursday and it is the exam for motorcycle license. I have got some login codes to an online test program that I can sit and take over and over again. I have been driving car for 20 years so I thought I knew the traffic regulations, but it doesn’t seem so when I try the test. It is all the time something that I’m failing on.

The other thing I study for is pilots exemption exam for Zeebrugge harbor and approach. This is going to be an even harder task to manage. It is a million things to remember and calculate. You have to calculate currents and water levels. When is high and low water on a specific day. Where is the reporting points, different buoys and their light characters, dangerous wrecks and shallow waters. The differens between the open sea traffic rules and the Belgian inshore traffic rules, and much more.

And now I’m ending the day by finishing this post about my day. Probably I will be up a little longer. I have got stuck in YouTube. Clips where people do stupid things. It’s a good way to end the day on a not so serious note. Sometimes I watch some training videos as well. It’s nice to only sit down and se other people do stuff instead of me.

When I have written this 1000 words I have 6 posts. I am then at the half-way mark to write 12 posts to 20.5. If I manage this task it will be a huge success for me, and it shows that I’m not so bad at writing as I think I am. That will then show that everything is possible even if you are not the best writer. Everybody can write. It will not be the best grammar always, but that’s what the grammar control is there for.

I’m back again, and I will try to keep up the work. I will now only try to concentrate on this site instead of trying to manage two sites at the same time.

Now when I have opted in to the WA super affiliate 1 year course I have to putt all my work in to one site instead of two.

The other reason why I put the other site on hold is that I have not made any referrals to Amazon so my subscription is going to be terminated. That’s how it goes. If you don’t make any referrals during 6 months, your account will be ended.

Of cause if they give you an account, they want you to provide some traffic, otherwise you are not making any sales for them. That starts to make sense for me now when I think about it.

Wait 6 months

Seriously, you should wait at least 6 months before you start any affiliation with any sales market company. You need followers and subscribers and traffic to your site before you can start advertise stuff on your site for other companies.

If you don’t get any traffic to your site it will not make any traffic to the company that you are advertising for and that’s not what they are searching for. You will need to put out good articles and blog posts and some reviews about their products and services so people go over to their homepage and buy stuff from them.

Of cause this is not the case with Wealthy Affiliate. They want you to stay and learn along the way to success, and refer some new affiliates during the way to there. Here you will learn that its not an earn money fast business with affiliate marketing. It can take everything from 6 months to a year to se any result from it. It of cause depends on how much you work and how many articles, blog posts and reviews you put out every month.

Hard work

Do not expect that this is an easy job that gives you instant money. It is far from that. You constantly have to come up with new ideas to write about. The coming up with something to write is not the hardest part, but it can sometimes be quite hard to get at least 1000 words out of it.

+1000 words is one of the key to get faster ranked on google. Nice pictures and a text that is original and can’t be found on any other site is also a key to success. No copy paste from other pages if you want to be high ranked on google and other search engines.

You also need good pictures in your text to get the readers to really like it. Good pictures you can find for free in the site content editor in Wealthy Affiliate. It’s inside the program and can be found under Websites in the side menu.

The easiest way

The easiest way to start earning some extra income is actually to join the Wealthy Affiliate and start and get premium membership. Then you can start the affiliate boot camp and start setting up your website with blog and reviews and everything by going trough steps that you have to follow during the course.

The boot camp training you can find under the Training section in the sidebar menu when you log on to Wealthy Affiliate. If you are not a premium member you will be told to get a premium before you can start whit the boot camp. When you get in to the boot camp training program the first week of tasks will be to start up your first website and buy your own domain name for it.

That’s right. You will need to spend some money to earn even more money. That shouldn’t be any surprise for anyone. That is a fact and If you are not willing to spend that small amount of money, you will not start earning anything either.

Other stuff to do

Unfortunately this is not the only thing I have to do on a daily business . I also do some studies now to get some extra degrees, and I have a small garden to take care of. I also train crossfit almost every day and try to cycle at least 1 hour every day that I don’t train. The schedule is full when I am home from my ordinary work, but that’s how I like it to be.

At my ordinary work at sea I work from 8 in the morning to about 8 in the evening, so it is not so much time for other things. I can work on writing maybe 1 hour every evening, but that should be enough if you aim for 12 articles every 30 days or so.

At work I have about the same schedule as at home with training and that, except for that I don’t have any garden there, and I don’t have to cook my own food. The chef is making good food for us so the training has to be there to not gain too much weight.

Conclusion

If you put your ass in to it you can whit some extra hours at evenings make an extra income. If it goes very well you can even quit your normal job and only have affiliate marketing as your income, but it will take about 1-2 years before you get that far so don’t jump out of your normal day to day quite yet. You need to get it up and running first and then when you earn enough and you have scaled it up to the next level you maybe can start thinking about quitting your job.

Do not do the same thing that I have don over and over again and say this doesn’t work when you don’t get anything out of it after one month. It will take time and you will struggle with it some times, but if you dig in and do the homework you will be rewarded after a while.
